The Gospel According to Ruth

At Generation, we say that the Bible is just one story, God's work of redeeming and reconciling us to Himself through Jesus, and there are a bunch of little stories in the Bible that point to the one big story.  The book of Ruth, often viewed simply as a love story, is actually a profound Gospel story of redemption, pointing forward to the Redeemer who would come through her family line.  Ruth shows us that God is always at work behind the scenes—restoring and redeeming-even in the ordinary, messy, and painful moments of life.
