We are headed back to Black Mountain, NC. The main activity that we will be doing together is whitewater rafting down the French Broad River on Friday afternoon, July 14th, about 22 miles north of Asheville, NC. We will be going back to Blue Heron Whitewater Rafting. However, this year we will be having lunch on the river. For those of you who are not interested in whitewater rafting there are other activities and sights in the area like hiking, waterfalls, mountains, fishing, restaurants and breweries.

We will be staying in Black Mountain, NC in the newly renovated rooms at Ridgecrest Conference Center located about 15 miles east of Asheville, NC. The cost of the retreat will cover lodging and the main activity (if you choose to whitewater raft). This retreat is for males 9th grade and older. If you are under 18 years old you will need to have your guardian with you on the retreat. You will be responsible for getting to and from the retreat.
