We're letting our light shine at the RISE Glow Party on March 11th from 2pm-5pm. We will kick off our event at 2pm with glow games. The kids will move in groups through different games that are already super fun, such as: Giant Jenga, Twister, Connect Four, and more, but we're adding a twist and playing them all in the dark while the games themselves are glowing! 

After we've rotated through all the games, we're cranking up the volume and busting out our glow pens. We'll have awesome music, balloons, dance streamers, hula hoops, and spend some time painting/signing each other's shirts. Please make sure your child wears a white shirt they can draw on! Once we're all in on our outward glow, we'll spend some time working on our inward glow. 

In the last hour or so of the event, we will serve the kids pizza and while they eat, we'll start to talk about how we let our own light shine. We'll watch a short video about shining our light from Douglas, our puppet friend who loves to share about God's love, and then get into small groups to talk about little and big ways to let people see Jesus through us everyday. 

This is a great event for your family to live the mission this year, especially empowering your child to do so. Feel free to encourage your child to invite a neighbor, a school friend, or even a buddy from church to come, have fun, and hear about Jesus together.
