IMPORTANT INFORMATION
FACILITIES & MEALS
When you arrive on Thursday at the Ridgecrest Conference Center, you will check in at the front desk in the Pritchell Building. Upon checking in, you will get the key to your room and a parking pass, if needed. We do not have anything planned Thursday evening because some folks are coming to the retreat after they get off work. Please note, there is no alcohol allowed on the Ridgecrest property. Breakfast is included in your stay. You will be responsible for getting all your other meals. We will independently separate into individual groups for lunch and dinner. During these meals, remember to be inclusive and invite those around you.
MEETING
We will meet as a large group twice during the 2022 Men’s Retreat. At this time we will worship together through fun, song, and discussion. Be ready to play a game or 2 where you could win prizes, be ready to sing together, and be ready to dive into some discussion over God’s Word as we explore how our DNA Groups meet.
WHITEWATER RAFTING
We will be whitewater rafting! Here are some things to know:
Trips go rain or shine, be ready for anything.
Wear clothes you don't mind getting wet. Shorts and t-shirts are suitable during the warmer summer months.
Wear shoes that will stay on your feet and that you don't mind getting wet. No flip flops please.
You'll probably want to bring a change of clothes and a towel for after.
Bring items which might be needed for medical considerations. Some examples are EpiPens for bee stings or food allergies, inhalers for asthma, and extra food for diabetes.
For those of you that are not whitewater rafting, there are tons of things to explore in Black Mountain, NC and Asheville, NC. Check out this article below.
