GenStudents is for our students between 6th and 12th grade. We meet every Sunday night at Generation Church from 6:00-8:00 pm to provide a consistent and safe space for them to feel connected. During our gatherings, we play games, engage in worship, hear relevant teaching, and grow together in community groups. We also have fun events throughout the year. Our goal is to empower our students to become disciples of Jesus who are actively saying Yes to Jesus in their daily lives! 

ROLE IN GENSTUdENTS

Community Group Leader

This weekly role allows leaders to have deep conversations with students about what is being taught or life in general. You are encouraged to build relationships with the students and help them build relationships with each other in a safe and loving space. 

Event Leader

In GenStudents, there are a lot of events that take place throughout the year. If you have a heart for setting up, planning, and leading specific events, then this may be a great spot for you to be involved in.

Tech

This area would oversee Check-Ins, ProPresenter, sound, and video. You don’t have to have any prior experience or even be great with tech; we will train you on everything.

Games

Are you good at finding the BEST group games on TikTok, Instagram Reels, or Google? We need somebody who can bring the fun each week!

Social Media

If you are good at creating captions, knowing how often to post, and creatively communicating, you may be interested in serving in this area.

Reset

Each week, things need to be put back where they came from or put into place. Chairs should be in order, and things should not be left out. If you have time to hang around at the end of each service to help set things back up, this would be a good spot for you.
